05/02/2010 ECOWAS and WFP signed an agreement in the framework of UNHRD Network

The President of the ECOWAS Commission, Dr. Mohamed Ibn Chambas and Ms. Alice Martin-Dahirou WFP representative in Mali, delegated by ODL Director M . Ohlsen, signed a technical Agreement in the framework of UNHRD Network.
ECOWAS represents 15 member states in the West-Africa Region and is strongly interested in co-operating with WFP for the use of HRD Accra and the Training Centre facilities. ECOWAS intends to build in Mali a Humanitarian Depot with the technical advice of WFP Logistics Division.
