ABOUT CATALOGUE:
The purpose of this catalogue is to provide web-site visitors with some information relating to the items stored at UNHRD on behalf of its Authorized Users.
Part of these items should be considered for survival purposes and they are destined to the population affected by the disasters (”Programme Support Stocks”), while some others (basic equipment) have the purpose of supporting and implementing the emergency operation set-up by UNHRD Authorized Users in the field (”Operation Support Equipment”).
The catalogue has been arranged by groups of items, in line with classifications adopted and in use by the UN and International Humanitarian Organizations As a consequence of the above definitions, the fact that some items (e.g. Mini Trauma Kits or Large Trauma Kits) reported under the group of Drugs and Medical supply, does not necessarily mean that they are managed by WHO.
