Services
UNHRD offers its users the following two types of services:
Standard Services
Standard services are those related to offloading, reception, inspection, small repairs, customs process, warehousing, routine maintenance, stock management and administration. All standard services are provided to all authorized users as a result of the signature of the Technical Agreement with no need for a specific ad hoc request, free of charge and in accordance with the quality indicators and timeframes detailed in Annex I of Standard Operating Procedures.
Specific Services
Specific services are those additional services that UNHRD could provide to its users, upon request and on the basis of full cost recovery. Specific services are considered major repairs, extraordinary maintenance of equipment, offloading of un-palletized cargo, the procurement of non-food items (NFI) and services, transport of NFIs, technical missions in the field, stocks’ insurance, stock disposal and any other service requiring financial commitment by WFP. The Specific Services are provided to all authorized users on a full-cost recovery basis plus a management recovery fee set at 4.5 % of the actual cost in accordance with the quality indicators and timeframes detailed in the Annex 2 of the Standard Operating Procedures.
