UNHRD Accra is publishing a local advertisement for an ‘expression of interest’ in the completion of its facilities; the ad aims to identify local companies who could formally be invited to tender. The Italian MOFA/NGO sent various relief items to Congo and Sierra Leon through separate shipments. In addition to WFP cargoes, UNHRD Dubai managed several shipments on behalf of WHO-HAC, UNDP, UNDSS and UNHCR; most of these were outbound shipments (for different countries), consisting of different cargo types – from medicines, to ICT equipment to ballistic blankets. UNHRD Subang participated in two key events: a Marriott Malaysia Business Council ceremony, where the Senior Advisor accepted a cheque of over USD 30,000 in support of WFP school feeding programmes and a meeting with Wira Logistics Sdn Bhd, led by its CEO, followed by a visit to UNHRD’s warehouse and the new facility’s construction site.
